Aleria Portrait

Aleria, the goddess of nature, is one of my characters from the online game Lensmoor. Originally this was done as a school project, but I wanted to use that opportunity to do something for the game as well.

Despite being known as the "Earth Mother", Aleria appears to mortals as a child of 12 or 13. The concept behind this is she is the spirit of the earth, which needs to be nurtured and protected to remain balanced. I tried to incorporate the four elements into the image in subtle ways.
